John M. Cortines

Mr. Cortines serves as the Director of Generosity for the Maclellan Foundation. He previously served for five years at Generous Giving, most recently as COO. Prior to entering the nonprofit sector, he worked in the oil and gas industry as an engineer for Chevron Corporation. He is the co-author of two books on money, faith and generosity.  Mr. Cortines is a graduate of Harvard Business School (MBA), King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (MS), and Texas A&M University (BS).  He has served as Director of UTG, Inc. since December 2018.
